Honestly, it’s frustrating to see progress in Taiwan stalled again because the opposition is more interested in playing politics than actually moving the country forward. The failed recall just gives the KMT more room to block reforms that Taiwan desperately needs, especially when it comes to social justice and standing up to China’s influence. The DPP was trying to empower voters and break the gridlock, but now it feels like we’re stuck with the same old partisan bickering. Taiwan deserves a government that’s bold enough to challenge the status quo and actually listen to the will of the people.
